So one day while at work I decide to browse Ebay to see if there are any good deals on Wii’s out there. After all this is the new world of gaming we are all hearing about.
I found a good deal and ended up winning the auction for the Wii. I am very excited about my new purchase so on my lunch break I decide to go to Wal-Mart to check out other games I might want to play in addition to Zelda which is coming with my purchase.
As I am standing there contemplating Wii games I hear behind me “No sir, we only allow one per customer.” “But my friend is right over there.” Well then your friend needs to come over here in order for him to get one.” I am thinking to myself, they aren’t talking about what I think they are talking about are they? In my experience, getting an internship can be the most important thing you do after college.
As an intern you experience first hand the day to day work involved with the company and field you are interested in. The company also has the benefit of observation before a formal commitment is commenced.
Work hard as an intern, be enthusiastic about learning and you will have a good shot at a great future with a company you like.
